Wondering what a yacht holiday is all about? How a day on board goes, when you sail, when you anchor, and how things like meals work — or what to pack? In this article, you’ll find everything clearly laid out in one place.
Who is the cruise suitable for?
The catamaran is ideal for 6 to 8 people. Below deck, there are four double cabins, each with its own bathroom (shower and toilet). Thanks to a thoughtful layout, everyone enjoys plenty of space and privacy. On deck, there's ample room for communal dining, relaxation, and entertainment—even in less favorable weather.
The sailing yacht accommodates 4 to 6 people maximum. It offers less space overall than the catamaran, but delivers more excitement while sailing under full sail.
If it's just the two of you, consider asking friends if they'd like to join—you might find others interested, and we’re happy to connect you.
How to get to the marina?
Croatia is accessible by car or plane. You can usually park directly at the marina for a fee.
By plane, the most convenient airports are Split (near marinas around Trogir) and Zadar (closest to the largest marina on the Adriatic in Sukošan). Upon request, we can arrange airport transfer to and from the marina to make your journey as smooth as possible.
When does the cruise start and end?
The cruise typically lasts one week—from Saturday to Friday. Departure is usually on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning, once the boat is prepared and supplies are loaded. It ends on Friday afternoon when you return to the home marina, where the boat stays moored overnight. You may stay on board and depart Saturday morning, or head home or to the airport on Friday afternoon if you prefer.
What does a day on the boat look like?
Every day is different—and that's the charm. Still, most days follow a rhythm:
Morning: Waking up in a quiet bay, hearing only cicadas and gentle lapping of water. The air is fresh—perfect for a morning swim or paddleboarding. Meanwhile, the captain and steward prepare a simple breakfast on deck.
Late morning: A short sail to a new anchorage—either a bay ideal for a swim or a town dock where you can explore and shop.
Afternoon: Lunch is prepared right on the boat, typically light and fresh. After lunch, enjoy swimming, a siesta, coffee, and relaxation in the shade. In town, there’s the option for a stroll, café visit, or shopping at small boutiques.
Evening: Dinner might involve a barbecue on the boat or a trip ashore to a traditional Dalmatian konoba. Watch the sunset, enjoy a drink, savor the moment—along with card or board games.
When do you sail and when do you anchor?
The cruise pace is adjusted to the weather, crew mood, and the experienced captain’s advice. Mornings usually see sailing to the next location, while evenings are leisurely—anchoring in scenic and safe bays or ports. It’s not a race but a relaxed discovery of the Adriatic at your own pace.
What about food?
Every day, we prepare breakfast, a light lunch, and an evening meal—either grilled onboard or arranged ashore at a charming Dalmatian konoba, accessible by tender. All meals are made with fresh ingredients that we purchase and load before your arrival at the marina, including non-alcoholic beverages and coffee.
Throughout the week, we restock fresh bread, fruit, and vegetables as needed.
What should you bring?
Pack light and comfortably. Essentials include:
Swimwear, lightweight clothes, a sweater for the evening, and a windbreaker
Water shoes and sandals (barefoot is common on board)
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat
Diving goggles, water toys
A book for relaxing
Documents and EUR cash
Bed linens and towels are provided on board—no need to bring your own.
When should you go?
The best yachting season in Croatia runs from May to October when conditions are ideal—pleasant air temperatures, stable weather, and warm sea:
May & June: Great for quieter cruising before the tourist season peaks. Air temps are around 20–25 °C; the sea is still cooling but warm enough for swimming. Fewer crowds in ports and bays mean more privacy.
July & August: Peak season—ports, islands, and beaches are often crowded. Temperatures can reach up to 30 °C, and the sea is warm and inviting. If cruising during these months, be sure to reserve mooring spots in advance.
September & October: Ideal for combining pleasant weather with fewer crowds. Temperatures hover around 25–28 °C, and the sea remains comfortably warm. Ports become calmer—offering more mooring options and tranquil bays.
What does it cost?
Prices vary depending on the week, but services on board remain consistent:
May, June: from €790 per person
July, August: from €1,290 per person
September: from €990 per person
You can also book the entire catamaran for a private group (family, friends, team-building) at a discounted rate:
